Hailing from Santa Ana, California, Afield Out is an outdoor lifestyle brand that champions nature’s beauty through punkish, graphic-led silhouettes and tonal color schemes. After dropping off a utilitarian Spring 2024 collection in April, the function-minded label has returned with a relaxed ready-to-wear lineup filled with earthy details for the heat of summer.

Led by self-taught designer Brian Chor, the line opens with a pair of drift shirts, finished in both “Pine” and “Black” tones. The preshrunk button-up tops boast relaxed, slightly cropped fits with soft cotton sleeves and nylon bodies. Elsewhere, “Brown Universe” hoodies boast worldly Afield Out iconography across the chest, while a number of T-shirts make illustrative call-outs to the planet. Among them, the “Earth” T-shirt houses lettering that reads “You And I Are Earth,” and the “Sand Balance” T-shirt pictures several women posing to form a peace sign above the brand’s label.

Down the line, camo stitch nylon pants feature a subtle camouflage design with an elastic waist, stitch detailing and a printed logo. The “Element” shorts, available in “Black,” “Teal” and “Sand” colorways, are covered in screen-printed artworks and unique takes on the imprint’s signage. Rounding out the lineup, the collection puts forth a number of casual caps with matching graphics to the T-shirts.

Afield Out’s Summer 2024 collection is now available to shop on the brand’s webstore, with prices ranging from $60 USD to $180 USD. Take a closer look at the line in the gallery above.
