Zacari Announces ‘Bliss’ Short Film and Debut Album
Debut album features James Fauntleroy, Ty Dolla $ign, Ab-Soul, Doechii and more.
Zacari has released a trailer for his Bliss short film, set to debut July 12 via Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE). His debut album of the same name explores themes of isolation and self-discovery and is set to launch on the same day. Many of the tracks feature collaborations with artists such as James Fauntleroy, Ty Dolla $ign, Ab-Soul, and Doechii.
The short film trailer presents surrealist sequences that delve into inner conflict and reconciliation. Zacari, who gained recognition through his work with Kendrick Lamar and his own singles, describes himself as a wanderer aiming to create “life music” that offers healing to listeners.
This summer, Zacari will join SiR on the Life is Good tour, starting July 23 in Silver Spring, MD, and concluding August 15 in Los Angeles. The tour will cover major cities across the country. Tickets are now available on the SiR website, with many dates already sold out. In the meantime, watch the trailer below.
