Pagani Unveils the Utopia Roadster: a Lightweight V12 Masterpiece
Designed to celebrate mechanical purity with no hybrid support.
Pagani has introduced the Utopia Roadster, once again pushing the limits of technological sophistication and timeless design, set to be unveiled during this year’s Monterey Car Week. This new Hypercar, available in both open and closed configurations, retains the performance and agility of its Coupé counterpart, thanks to its lightweight composite materials and advanced engineering.
Weighing in at just 1,280 kg or roughly 2800 lbs, the Utopia Roadster is equipped with a Pagani V12 engine, devoid of hybrid support, celebrating the beauty of mechanical purity. The Roadster features an innovative Pirelli Cyber Tyre system, enhancing safety through advanced sensor technology that allows real-time communication between the tires and the vehicle.
Like all Pagani vehicles, customization takes an important role, with each Utopia Roadster to be as unique as its owner, thanks to the vast tailoring options available. The presentation model to be shown at Monterey will be dressed in Habanero Red and feature the optional Sport Pack, emphasizing its dual nature of sportiness and elegance.
Horacio Pagani, the mastermind behind this creation, highlighted the meticulous attention to detail in both design and engineering. The Roadster’s monocoque chassis is redesigned to optimize rigidity without additional weight, ensuring both versions — open and closed — deliver unmatched performance.
The Utopia Roadster’s design team, working under Pagani’s guidance, ensured continuity between the Coupé and Roadster. The elegant butterfly doors, sophisticated suspension system and luxurious interior details create a driving experience that is both exhilarating and intuitive. Pagani plans to produce only 130 examples of the Utopia Roadster, with prices for an allocation starting at $3,355,000 USD.
