Doechii’s a Scholar and Gymnast in “ROCKET” Music Video

Doechii’s back with new music as she’s dropped a new single and accompanying music video “ROCKET.”
Perfect for the summer, the upbeat tune details moving on from situations, presumably romantic ones that don’t serve her. People are always going to talk and there’s no point in added stress, so the new track breaks away those walls with a fun and carefree attitude.
“Borders, you without borders/That’s like the two faces on both sides of a quarter, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah/You need patience/You without patience/That’s like the one movie with the boy inside of the mazes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah/So bend ya back, yeah, I can’t pick up ya slack, yeah/I’m too hot to be stuck on who and what’s been done in the past, yeah/Movin’ on with compassion/Can’t be stressed, I’m relaxin/Can’t be pressed ’bout your actions/I’m too fine to be trapped inside your heat,” Doechii sings in the second verse.
To bring the video to life, Doechii is seen in several school scenes ranging from walking the halls as a scholar to being a gymnast and even hanging outside with friends. It’s been discussed that the Tampa native has been working on her debut studio album, but an exact timeline of its status/release is still to come.
