Latto Switches It Up on "Big Mama"
The highly-anticipated track is a two-part offering.
Big Latto is tapping into her “Big Mama” alter ego on her newest single. After teasing the track on social media for a few weeks now, the highly sought-after “Big Mama” has finally surfaced on streaming services.
The first half of the three-minute cut finds Latto in her bag, reflecting on her love life in her lyrics. About halfway in, the vibe switches up, the beat intensifying and Latto’s bars packing more of a punch.
The track’s music video follows the different phases of “Big Mama”‘s sonic structure. The first half of the video finds Latto in her sister preparing, packing and traveling to Miami; as the track transitions to its second half, the video follows Latto and her ladies through their Miami escapades dining, dancing on the yacht and driving fancy cars.
“Big Mama” marks Latto’s second release of 2024, following up “Sunday Service” which recently landed a remix with Megan Thee Stallion and Flo Milli.
Latto seems to have a project on the way – one entitled SUGAR HONEY ICED TEA.
