Playboi Carti Confirms 'I AM MUSIC' Is Officially Finished
Fans are getting antsy as they await a release date.
Playboi Carti shared news to fans further suggesting that his upcoming album, I AM MUSIC, is actually close to releasing.
The announcement arrived shortly after the artist shared a screenshot of a text from Wheezy, which stated that the producer will sample JAY-Z’s “Girls, Girls, Girls” for him — causing fans to theorize that his elusive record was still in the works. “MY ALBUM DONE,” Carti formally shared, and further addressed the previous Instagram Story. “ME N WHEEZY TALKING ABOUT SOME OL OTHER SHITTT,” he added, but he did not clarify what the sample is for.
Carti has been pushing I AM MUSIC over the last few months. Billboards for the album were spotted in mid-February, and he even previewed a few songs during Rolling Loud Miami in December 2024.
