Dior Names Hurdles Champion Sasha Zhoya Its Newest Ambassador
Ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
Ahead of the Summer Games that are slated to kick off in Paris this July, Dior is amping up its presence in the Olympic Village with a new ambassador: 110-meter hurdles champion, Sasha Zhoya. In the deal, the 21-year-old athlete will represent the French fashion house at key events and in future promotional imagery.
“For me athletes are artists,” Zhoya wrote on Instagram alongside his announcement imagery. “I’m fascinated by the creative process, starting with an idea, a movement or a feeling and trying to achieve excellence, whether in the creation of a garment or a performance.”

Zhoya joins Dior’s impressive roster of Olympian and Paralympian ambassadors, which also include the likes of soccer player Alex Morgan, boxer Estelle Mossely, skateboarders Aurélien Giraud and Louise-Aïna Taboulet, swimmer Emma McKeon, surfers Kauli Vaast and Carissa Moore, gymnast Mélanie de Jesus dos Santos, wheelchair tennis player Pauline Déroulède and Para-cyclist Marie Patouillet, among many others.
Zhoya, who began competing for France in 2020, holds the current world record for the 110-meter hurdles in the under-20 age group with a time of 12.72 seconds. At 19, the Perth-born athlete was the fastest 110-meter hurdles runner in U18 history.
