North West Is a Californian Queen in Bespoke ERL for Her Performance in 'The Lion King'
Simba wears streetwear now.

ERL is embracing the circle of life in its newest bespoke design, whipping up a design for Kim Kardashian‘s daughter North West for her recent role in The Lion King performance. West took to the Hollywood Bowl stage as Simba for the 30th anniversary of the production, rocking a custom costume by the Los Angeles-based outfitter for her performance of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King.”
Crafted by ERL’s Eli Russell Linnetz, West’s eye-catching, fuzzy getup draws parallels to the streetwear label’s Spring 2024 range, leaning into the local “Made in California” styles of its hometown.
Landing in the brand’s “Butter” colorway, the outfit is multifaceted. West dons a furry custom zip-up hoodie with a shearling hood on top, which comes along with a set of sweats.
As for the final details of the curated costume, West rounds it out with a crossbody bag, a pair of sunglasses, a trapper hat and a set of handmade shearling skate shoes.
