LOEWE's FW24 Pre-Collection Is All About Laid-Back Luxury
Featuring inventive leather outerwear, sweaters with plunging necks, playful knitwear creations, signature high-waisted trousers and more.

After dressing an impressive 16 attendees at the Met Gala earlier this month, LOEWE is back to business as usual, with the debut of its Fall/Winter 2024 pre-collection. Arriving on Thursday, May 30, as the precursor to its full FW24 lineup later this year, the compact lineup offers a casual sampling of what the Jonathan Anderson-led fashion house has up its tailored sleeves.
Here, the brand proves the power of layering. Classic, big-shouldered blazers appear atop sweaters with necklines that dip more than halfway down the torso. Underneath them, LOEWE spotlights myriad plaid button-up shirts, which embrace sophistication when secured all the way up to the neck. On the bottom, Anderson’s signature high-waisted trousers — in both denim and corduroy iterations — provide a laid-back contrast to his subversions of traditional formalwear.
Elsewhere, knit turtlenecks form the underlayers for V-necks and overcoats, while more sweaters and scarves employ a rainbow check pattern that could do a better job repping Pride Month than the often-too-on-the-nose collections brands will launch to celebrate in the coming weeks. Black leather composes outerwear, including straight jackets, sherpa-lined parkas and biker silhouettes; and “Shimmering Falls” quarter-zips get cozy with mountainous illustrations across the body.
Loafers, too, boast relaxed constructions, with elastic backs and folded-back tongues that hold pants in place behind them. There’s a pair of suede boots fit for a level-one hike, as well as a heel that takes after the waistline on jeans. Rounding out the range, the label expands on its popular bags, with all sorts of textile and material innovations.
