Paris+ par Art Basel has been renamed to Art Basel Paris. The switch should come as a no-brainer, as it falls succinctly in line with the organizer’s existing events in Basel, Hong Kong and Miami Beach — the name having initially stumped visitors from its initial fair in the French capital back in 2022.

The rebrand isn’t the only big news surrounding the forthcoming fair, which is now going on its third edition, as the event will also move to Paris’ historic Grand Palais, offering roughly 26 percent more space for brands and galleries. “Art Basel as a global brand could be even more of service to the city of Paris if we transition to Art Basel Paris,” said Art Basel Paris director Clément Delépine in a statement. “It is a way to reinforce our commitment to the city and the local cultural ecosystem, which is very dynamic, and leverage the impact of the Art Basel brand to further bolster the fair. It is a label of excellency for the galleries invited to partake.”

Art Basel Paris 2024 will boast 194 galleries, including 51 first-time participants from October 18 to 20, 2024. See the full list below.
