Ye and Ty Dolla $ign Unveil "TALKING" Video, Directed by North West
“It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie.”
Today has been a big day for surprise music drops. Joining Kendrick Lamar‘s “Euphoria” YouTube exclusive offering is Ye’s latest VULTURES delivery. Arriving as the project’s newest music video is “TALKING,” which also marks North West‘s directorial debut.
North, who also leads the Ye and Ty Dolla $ign track lyrically, also stars in the “TALKING” video.
“I love it, yeah / We gonna take over the year for another year (talkin’) / It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie (talkin’) / Don’t tryna test me (talkin’) / It’s gonna get messy,” she chants at the opening, donning a fur coat, hat and oversized sunglasses.
North and her friends – all repping VULTURES merch – deliver the song as they hang out the roof of a Porsche.
Ty steps in about two minutes in for his part, wearing a similar outfit to North: a black three-piece suit and black oversized sunglasses.
Aside from a clip of sparring with North around 45 seconds in and the video’s closing shot, Ye takes a back seat in the “TALKING” visual, letting North fully do her thing.
