Standard Watch Straps Can Now Be Used on the New G-SHOCK GA-2300
Bringing in new ways to customize.
Another day, another G-SHOCK. One of the more recent additions to the G-SHOCK portfolio is its G-SHOCK GA-2300 timepiece which boasts a slimmer and unisex profile. But what stands out about the new addition is that it allows the usage of standard watch straps, which was highlighted in a YouTube video from Just the Watch.
Featuring a touch digital-analog construction, the watch’s case clocks in at 45.4 mm diameter and is 11.6 mm slim. Due to its sleeker build, the watch by nature has a more minimalist design, which doesn’t happen very often with G-SHOCK because of its signature rugged shock-resistance construction. To keep things simple, the watch appears in classic hues of black or white, alongside a bold pink for a pop of color.
But the special highlight of the new timepieces is its ability to utilize standard watch straps. The watch includes drilled lugs with removable spring bars that allow for quick customizations. So whether it be a parachute or NATO strap, the GA-2300 is able to bring of different looks.
Of course, the watch boasts the brand’s signature shock-resistant capability alongside 200-meter water resistance, 31 time zones, a stopwatch, a timer, 5 daily alarms, a double LED light and an LED-backlit display.
