Following the initial glimpse of the highly anticipated collaboration earlier this month, Casio has officially unveiled the Pokémon x G-SHOCK GA-110PKM-7A watch. Created to celebrate the monumental 30th anniversary of the beloved global franchise, the special-edition timepiece marks the first time Pokémon has teamed up with the flagship G-SHOCK line, following previous successful partnerships with the BABY-G series.
The commemorative timepiece eatures a translucent resin bezel and band, alongside a crisp white center case. It is accented by bold red, blue and green details that directly reference the color schemes of the inaugural Pokémon game releases. The dial is packed with fan-favorite details, including an inset dial at the 9 o’clock position styled after a Poké Ball and equipped with an indicator hand shaped like Pikachu viewed from behind. Elevating the celebratory theme, the specially designed band showcases 29 different Pokémon – spanning from Kanto to Paldea first partners alongside Pikachu and Eevee – while the mythical Pokémon Mew appears on the band loop to complete the 30-monster lineup. To cement the milestone, a custom 30th-anniversary Pokémon logo is prominently engraved onto the case back.
Capping off the collaborative effort, the timepiece is presented in exclusive packaging shaped like a classic Poké Ball, housed within an outer box that carries the signature 30-Pokémon motif. Retailing for $270 USD, the Pokémon x G-SHOCK GA-110PKM-7A is expected to see a worldwide release this month.
