T-Pain Is Dropping a Second ‘On Top of the Covers’ LP
His first cover LP dropped just over a year ago.

T-Pain has demonstrated his musical dexterity time and time again. He may be known as the king of auto-tune but he’s been proven to also sound great during recent live performances, whether it’s an R&B track or a hit country song.
Fans love T-Pain’s takes on other artists’ songs so much that he was moved to put out a full-length cover album, On Top of the Covers, in March 2023. As his first album in four years, one might expect that fans could be bothered by receiving a collection of covers rather than original songs but T-Pain brought his own twist to a wide range of iconic singles, from Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” to Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.”
T-Pain will be returning this year with his second volume of On Top of the Covers.
The artist made a surprise appearance during Jelly Roll’s set at Stagecoach Festival, where he revealed his plans to drop another cover album.
Along with sharing the news, the two teamed up for renditions of “All I Do Is Win” and “Buy U A Drank,” along with a Toby Keith tribute, “Should’ve Been a Cowboy.”
Stay tuned for more updates on T-Pain’s upcoming release.
