Franck Muller Links Up With S.T. Dupont for a Lighter That Doubles as a Timekeeper
Introducing the Master Lighter.
Teaming up over shared passion for innovation and art, Franck Muller and S.T. Dupont have unveiled the Master Lighter. The piece was revealed at this year’s WPHH (The World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie) in Genthod, Switzerland.
The Master Lighter combined both brands’ hallmarked craftsmanship, merging horology with luxury lifestyle accessories to create something that is both remarkably chic and functional. Arriving in S.T. Dupont’s signature diamond-head-patterned lighter, both sides of the bottom case are reimagined to feature an open design to showcase the watch dial and skeleton movement.
On the watch face side, Franck Muller’s multi-colored Arabic numerals are set against a sunburst, lacquered dial. The opposite face continues the colorful aesthetic, showcasing Franck Muller’s technical complication and movement that’s geared with a three-day power reserve.
Limited to 88 examples, the the Master Lighter series is available in a total of four variations: white with a sunburst silver dial, black with luminous numerals and a Color Dream edition featuring an aluminum skeletonized movement. Head over to Franck Muller’s website for more details.
