Goldwin 0 Provides A Closer Look At Its SS24 Collection Through New Editorial
A direct representation of the collection’s lifestyle applications, and an up-close look at its technical innovation.
Goldwin 0 presented its SS24 collection at the tail end of March, and now the label is serving up a detailed look at some of its key pieces in a new editorial. Though Goldwin 0 is a more experimental sub-label nestled under the larger Goldwin umbrella, it’s uncommon for the brand — which always leads with a performance-first mindset — to spotlight its looks through a direct lifestyle lens, making this editorial a unique angle to view Goldwin 0’s creative process from.
Jackets spotlighted in the editorial include the GORE-TEX SEED Shell Coat and Shell Jacket plus Waterproof Packable Poncho. Both the Shell Coat and Shell Jacket were inspired by the shapes of flower buds and plant seeds, reflected in the gently curved panels across each jacket and the cropped yet relaxed fit. The Waterproof Packable Poncho follows a similar floral inspiration but can be packed into a small stuff sack and boasts sides that can be opened or closed with snap buttons.
Besides the jackets, the editorial spotlights a trio of tops and a trifecta of bottoms. The shirts are a wind shirt, a long-sleeve wool half zip and a wool T-shirt, the first of which boasts a modular hood and sleeves, a bonded hem and a storage pocket. The half-zip long sleeve and tee are each made of ultra-fine ZQ merino wool and softly curving panels. Finally, the Articulated Pants boast a custom-designed three-dimensional curve and 4-way stretch fabric to bend and move with the leg, while the Wind Short and Wind Pant are lightweight shells with a silhouette that increases in width when the waist is tightened — the former also offers front and back pockets that connect to its side-switching lines, a Goldwin design signature.
