Arc'teryx System_A Drop 007 Offers Up Climbing Essentials
Presenting a range of apparel with harness-compatible pocketing and translucent detailing.

Arc’teryx has unleashed the seventh drop from its Arc’teryx System_A line. For the warm-weather delivery Arc’teryx pivots to climbing gear, serving up what the label calls “the new wave of spring climbing essentials” – including a hangdog jacket, hangdog shorts and some wearable storage equipment.

The hangdog jacket stands out at the forefront of Drop 007, inspired by the label’s soft shell model. Crafted from a lightweight nylon material, the jacket ensures insulation and wind protection, while still taking a lightweight and compact form. Fortius 2.0 softshell along the forearms and shoulders optimizes durability and harness-compatible pockets are tacked on throughout the silhouette.
Hangdog shorts are composed of Fortius 2.0 and Fortius Air 50 fabrics; the Air 50 panels reside on the back of the legs and waist to promote ventilation. A back loop rounds out the back of the silhouette – also complete with six pockets. Translucent accenting pops on both the jacket and shorts.
Elsewhere, Drop 007 includes the Solarium short-sleeve tee and two carrying companions: the Craft waist pack and the Chalk bag.
