Donald Glover Reveals Plans To Drop 2 Final Childish Gambino Albums
One of the LPs is the forthcoming ‘ATAVISTA.’

Donald Glover is planning to retire the Childish Gambino name, however, he still has a few albums in his system.
On Sunday, the star announced a GILGA Radio show, which would be livestreamed on his Instagram account. The stream followed his surprise Coachella appearance on Saturday night, where he and A$AP Rocky joined headliner Tyler, the Creator onstage.
Speaking on GILGA Radio, Glover shared that in addition to his previously announced Atavista LP, fans could expect one more album under the Gambino name.
“We’re releasing ATAVISTA, but after that, there’s the final Childish Gambino album — a soundtrack for the fans,” he shared, per Uproxx.
The show featured a radio-style teaser for Bando Stone & The New World and while it’s still unclear if that’s a series of a film, Gambino’s music will presumably make up the original soundtrack.
Glover’s last album was released over four years ago, 3.15.20, to which ATAVISTA is being billed as an updated version.
