ASICS and CARNAN Come Together for a New Capsule Collection
The collection includes a selection of t-shirts and jackets, as well as a take on Asics’ iconic GEL-QUANTUM 360.
ASICS has joined forces with the Brazilian label CARNAN to launch a new 15-piece collection. The collaboration, titled “PATH,” consists of CARNAN’s best-selling styles and a new GEL-QUANTUM 360 colorway. As the collection name suggests, the partnership champions the journey, rather than the destination.
“PATH” marks the union of two brands driven by the same passion and desire to explore the world around them. Fusing ASICS’ classic sports aesthetic with CARNAN’s bold contemporary references, each piece is created with exploration and discovery in mind. Even the color palette is deeply rooted in expedition through nature. ASICS and CARNAN designed the track jacket and matching zip-up shorts in a dark brown to represent the Earth and accented the graphic tees with touches of green to symbolize growth and progress.
“The [collection] tells a lot of stories,” says Paulo Carneiro, the co-founder of CARNAN, on their design process. “It documents our childhood memories and feelings we’ve experienced on our journey to today.”
For Breno Fernandes, the brand’s other co-founder, the path is more than a physical journey; it’s a symbolic representation of experiences and values. “As we talk about the process and the path of things, I wanted it to be a genuine scenario.”
