Supreme Announces New Store Opening in Shanghai
Its first official chapter in China.
Supreme is officially expanding. Just months after Supreme launched it Seoul flagship store, the titular streetwear brand has announced a new store within Asia. Capitalizing on the Chinese market, Supreme is opening a new flagship store in Shanghai next.
Supreme took to its own Instagram page to announce the new store to its fans with a rendered video of the Supreme logo landing on screens across the vibrant Shanghai skyline. While this is their first flagship store in China, Supreme has long had a presence in the country with its shop-in-shop at the Dover Street Market in Beijing. They entered into the Chinese marketing via DSM in 2022, following its ability to secure a Chinese trademark in 2020.
In the Instagram post, Supreme wrote in the caption, “Shanghai 2024,” seemingly teasing the new chapter opening will arrive this year. The caption also read, “Supreme Shanghai and Supreme WeChat Mini Program open on March 23rd at 10 am.” Take a look at the announcement below and stay tuned on more information on the new Shanghai chapter.
