Spinnaker and seconde/seconde/ Ready the “Fifty Phantoms” Phantom Blue Editions
Arriving in Phantom Blue and Phantom Mist.

Spinnaker has now begun shipping for its highly-hyped “Fifty Phantoms” sequel collaboration with seconde/seconde/. The tongue-in-cheek release was first announced last October and was immediately sold out. Due to the incredible reception, seconde/seconde/ then shortly announced a sequel release, entitled Phantom Blue Editions sporting a deep blue colorway.
Just like the first “Fifty Phantoms” watch issue, the Phantom Blue Editions arrive in a 43mm case crafted from sturdy, stainless steel. It’s paired with a unidirectional turning bezel that’s fitted with a hardened glass insert, coming in a dark blue or “Phantom Mist” colorway.
Its dial spotlights 50 luminous and custom-molded ghosts, applied in varying layers for an added dimensional visual effect. The watch also playfully nods to Blancpain’s iconic “Fifty Fathoms” model, where the usual water resistance indication on the dial has also been replaced with “No Feet” as a play on the ghost anatomy.
Inside, the watch is equipped with the NH38 Japanese automatic caliber, which is viewable behind a ghost-shaped rotor on the caseback. Both variants are accompanied by a simple two-stitch black leather strap and an additional perforated rubber strap.
