After realizing his childhood dream of working with Ronaldinho on his Fall/Winter 2024 “String Theory” runway in Paris and subsequently opening his 10,000-square-foot headquarters in Brooklyn earlier this year, designer Colm Dillane is keeping the KidSuper fanfare high with the release of his Spring/Summer 2024 collection, “Theater Play.”

Out Friday, the first drop from the artful line is packed with the fashioner’s much-loved statements. Among the standouts, trompe-l’oeil suits resemble artists’ wooden mannequins, while more blazers and dress trousers glow with vivid blue and green gradients. Patchwork denim jackets and pants match painters’ palettes with kaleidoscopic color schemes, and abstract knit jumpers make more literal references with illustrative depictions of the coloring tool itself.

Down the line, leather overcoats are finished with signature face applicqués, and “KidSuper Brooklyn Botanic Football Club” shirts add a sporty flair to the mix. Neckties, done up in many of Dillane’s hero graphics, make a strong case for this season’s leading accessory. But KidSuper’s Kissing Bags, which appear here in orange, will be difficult to beat. Add colorful scarves and crochet bucket hats to the mix, and it appears that Dillane has a full slate of eye-pleasing extras covered.

The first drop from KidSuper’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection will launch on Friday, March 15, at 3 p.m. ET via the brand’s webstore and in its Brooklyn outpost. See the line in the gallery above.
