Casablanca's SS24 Campaign Is a Romantic Vision of Nigerian Futures
The Golden Age of African film inspires the cinematic visuals.

Casablanca leader Charaf Tajer is known for upholding cultural values through sportswear design, portraying a sunset-hued vision of Nigeria at Paris Fashion Week in October 2023. Tajer now debuts his Spring/Summer 2024 campaign, building on his “Day of Victory” line by pushing West Africa into the future.
The romantic visuals explore fantastical storylines, rewriting history through mystical displays of the Golden Age of African cinema in the mid-1900s. Casablanca ignites a theatrical movement of tomorrow, foreseeing its “Day of Victory” collection inside gradient telephone booths and on global film stages.
Racing-inspired tops and skintight mesh dresses race against time on speedy motorcycles, driving into the horizon in rainbow-toned uniforms with an otherworldly spirit. Sensual Casablanca women are spotlighted in heart-shaped bras and glistening mini dresses, while gilded trombones guide striped tracksuits into action. The Parisian brand’s vivid scenes indulge in contemporary dance and combat with swords for the ultimate prize.
