Polaroid Celebrates Basquiat's Unparalleled Creativity In New Camera Range
Including a Polaroid Now Camera Generation 2, Color i-Type Film, and a Basquiat Shoulder Strap.

Polaroid is continuing its journey toward collaborative domination. The renowned camera maker is preparing its next unique drop, celebrating American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat and his impact on contemporary painting.
Polaroid’s new Basquiat collection honors his artistic spirit, harnessing his authentic style and unapologetic movements. The range includes a bold-colored Polaroid Now Camera Generation 2, Color i-Type Film, and a Basquiat Shoulder Strap — drowned in his vibrant 1982 painting Boy and Dog in a Johnnypump — which sold for $110.5 million USD in 2017.
Basquiat is the newest member of Polaroid’s artist series, which has previously honored Keith Haring and David Bowie. The program seeks to conserve legendary artwork through inventive comebacks, delivering ten distinct film frames spanning Basquiat’s revolutionary career.
