Fred again.. has officially unveiled his collaboration with Lil Yachty and Overmono. After previewing the then-untitled cut at an impromptu New York City rave at Queens’ Knockdown Center, the DJ released “stayinit” on streaming everywhere today.

“We played Yachty our song out of a Soundsystem for the first time,” the video opens, before focusing in on Yachty’s reaction to the song. By the time the beat drops, he’s dancing in the middle of the stage underneath flashing blue lights.

“Yachty goes ‘realize every moment won’t be perfect, but i do, enjoy all the MISTAKES THAT I MADE WITTHH YOOUUUU’ i really love that line man. it sounds so pure to me. i think this song is about like tryna support someone but not really knowing how to,” Fred wrote in an Instagram post of him and Yachty recording the song.

“thank you for your inspiring messages about hearing it in the lot show we did.” Since performing the track live in NYC, the pair has been teasing the collab consistently on social media.

“stayinit” marks the first collaboration for Fred again.. and Yachty, as well as Fred and Overmono.

Stream “stayinit” on Spotify and Apple Music now, and check out the visualizer in the gallery above.
