Born X Raised Readies Remixed Archive Collection
Hoodies, long-sleeves and T-shirts boast modern takes on the brand’s most-loved motifs.
Los Angeles streetwear label Born X Raised has flipped through its archives to revive and remix some of its most celebrated styles for today.
The brand, founded by the late Chris “Spanto” Printup in 2013, has built a cult following over the last 11 years, thanks to its dedicated community involvement, impactful social initiatives and authentic portrayals of the City of Angels through fashion. This latest collection celebrates the imprint’s influential identity in SoCal style, with an eclectic mix of sweatshirts, long-sleeves, T-shirts and accessories — all done up with the brand’s vintage Old English typography.
Among the standouts, the Horny Pills Tee plants the BXR motif next to an illustration of a Rhino, nodding to “gas station male enhancement pills,” and the Buff Bunny Tee pictures a playboy-like rabbit smoking and lifting weights. Meanwhile, several hoodies and tees host “No Weapon Formed Against Me Shall Prosper” lettering, and headwear includes the rocker beanie and the knit scully.
As always, the line’s campaign shines a light on its founding California city, showcasing the collection’s pieces on ATVs and dirt bikes by the historic LA River, in a series of photographs shot by Atiba Jefferson.
