Having undergone an extensive refurbishment (its first major change since launching in 2010) Bloomingdale’s unveiled the highly anticipated relaunch of its Dubai store’s men’s department last week.
Located on the second floor of the illustrious Dubai Mall, the new retail section features a sleek new layout and upgraded design features throughout the space. Elsewhere, the world-renowned department store also announced the introduction of newly stocked labels and designers to the region including Dries Van Noten, Magnanni, Douglas, and EPT as well as exclusively showcasing Lanvin’s latest collection — all of which elevate the retailer’s diverse offering.
The relaunch party brought out the region’s most exciting creatives to celebrate the store’s new revamp. Held at the Flat 12 Café, in partnership with the multidisciplinary creative lab Duette Studio, the unique space was transformed into an immersive art gallery that showcased works from esteemed designers as well as the latest collections from the likes of Zegna and Casablanca.
A blank canvas wall was erected alongside a variety of utensils for attendees to add their artistic flair to the space inspired by Bloomingdale’s retail space. Providing the sounds for the evening, live performances from Freek and Ugly Moss, and a set from DJ Shef Codes played well into the night.
