SZA Answers Nature's Call on New 'Lana' Album Trailer
The teaser also features an unreleased track sampling The Isley Brothers.
SZA‘s SOS deluxe album, entitled Lana, has received an official release teaser.
The short clip sees SZA out in the forest quickly answering nature’s call, while an unreleased track sampling The Isley Brothers’ “Voyage To Atlantis” plays in the background. She utilizes the teaser to confirm that Lana is the deluxe version of SOS and writes in the caption “Clock starts now . Happy anniversary,” celebrating two years of her beloved sophomore studio album.
The deluxe edition of SOS was teased as early as February of last year, while the Lana title was unveiled in September of 2023. She stated last year that “the deluxe is like a whole other album” with around seven to 10 songs in total, and even announced that it was going to drop that Fall. The release date was evidently delayed, although SZA told Kai Cenat just a few weeks prior to that Lana will release before the year ends. With three weeks left before the end of the 2024, fans will just have to wait and see.
