SIWILAI Taps KAWS for Latest Limited Edition Release
Following previous collaborations with names like VERDY, UNDERCOVER, Hajime Sorayama and more.
Leading Bangkok-based multi-brand store SIWILAI has unveiled the latest addition to its “Permanent Vacation: Friends of Siwilai” series — a long-time friend and collaborator of the brand, Brian Donnelly aka KAWS. This latest release follows drops from other notable collaborators like VERDY, DR. WOO, Jun Takahashi of UNDERCOVER and Haroshi.
KAWS, known for his boundary-pushing approach to art and design, brings his signature style to this limited-edition release. The collaboration features custom-drawn designs of the name SIWILAI, integrating the artist’s iconic XX eyes with the store’s Sun logo in mint green. The collection includes black and white short-sleeve and long-sleeve tees, available in select quantities starting December 12, 2024.
This marks the second major collaboration between SIWILAI and KAWS. Their first partnership debuted in 2016 with the #KAWSBFF exhibition, which introduced Thai audiences to an 8-meter-tall sculpture and exclusive designs. The event solidified KAWS’s influence in Thailand and celebrated his ability to blend fine art with popular culture.
The drop will be exclusively available at the SIWILAI Store inside of Central Embassy, with price yet to be announced at the time of writing.
