BAPE Readies Camo GORE-TEX FW24 Collection
With powerful down jackets, snowboarding coats, foldable pocket scarves and more.
As colder weather calls for bigger coats, A Bathing Ape (BAPE) has revealed its Fall/Winter 2024 GORE-TEX collection: a camo-packed range of protective outerwear pieces that should help make this winter a little more bearable.
The elements-braving lineup includes a suite of silhouettes from BAPE’s Black Series, the Japanese streetwear label’s high-end line focused on using premium materials with distinct black colorways. Among the standouts, the collection hosts a high-quality down jacket with a 700 Fill power, a signature snowboard jacket and a “WINDSTOPPER® PRODUCT BY GORE-TEX LABS” cap that can fend off powerful winds and cold air. Elsewhere, the range features a coach jacket and foldable pocket scarves — all done in black and BAPE’s “1ST CAMO” print.
All of the aforementioned pieces are constructed with GORE-TEX materials, which are known for their durability and weather protection. Offering waterproof, breathable and windproof wearing experiences, GORE-TEX fabrics contain nine billion pores per square inch (that’s 20,000 times smaller than water droplets and 700 times larger than water vapor molecules!), which prevent water from traveling through clothing but still allow water vapor to exit.
BAPE’s Fall/Winter 2024 GORE-TEX collection will become available to shop online and at BAPE London on Conduit St., Mayfair, on Saturday, December 7. Take a look at the lineup in the gallery above.
