SIWILAI Taps Hajime Sorayama for Limited Edition Tee

In continuation of its 10-year anniversary, Bangkok-based multi-brand store SIWILAI has announced the latest edition to its “Permanent Vacation: Friends of Siwilai” series — a collaboration with celebrated artist and long-time collaborator Hajime Sorayama. The collection has featured a range of notable collaborators, including the likes of DR. WOO, Jun Takahashi of UNDERCOVER and Haroshi​ — each providing a unique touch.

As for the latest tee shirt with Sorayama, it features a graphic displaying four of the artist’s signature “Sexy Robots” accompanied by a robotic cat. With most of the artist’s work erotic in nature, these robots, seemingly posing for a group photo, come across as modestly dressed in comparison. The group is found standing in front of a vibrant pink background, with noticeable details nodding to Sorayama’s iconic airbrush techniques.

While previous Permanent Vacation tee shirts have been offered in both black and white, it is assumed that this specific tee will be released solely in a black colorway, which helps add to the pop of the pink backdrop. Other notable details include co-branding elements at the back, with “SIWILAI” written in the artist’s signature font. The tee shirt is expected to be available for purchase starting September 20, with a retail price of ฿2,890 THB or approximately $86 USD and will be exclusively available at the SIWILAI Store in Bangkok, Thailand.
