Adidas New Z.N.E. Collection Inspires Connection Between Sports and Pop Culture
Next-gen pop figures like Tate McRae and BABYMONSTER intertwine with star athletes Noah Lyles, Su Yiming and more.
Adidas remains at the intersection of fashion and culture, creating sneaker icons including the Samba and the Gazelle, which have overtaken the style zeitgeist. Keeping a finger on the pulse, the brand has now announced the ADIDAS Z.N.E. collection with a new campaign featuring next-gen stars Tate McRae, Jude Bellingham, Noah Lyles and more.
Inspiring community between various fandoms — whether that be sports or pop culture — the new campaign displays each look through various perspectives. The range puts comfort first, prioritizing silhouettes that offer maximal movement. Z.N.E. features colorblocked hoodies, sweatshirts, pants, tees and shorts — all marked by the brand’s signature parallel stripes.
Each piece employs Adidas’ Primeknit, a leading technology informed by years of research, made to assist the wearer while in movement. Many of the pieces adopt a minimalist aesthetic, acting as the ideal canvas for inventive styling as well as mixing and matching.
Canadian singer-songwriter Tate McRae, actress and martial artist Xochitl Gomez, KPOP group BABYMONSTER, US track star Noah Lyles, Chinese snowboarder Su Yiming, as well as football figures Jude Bellingham, Paulo Dybala and Alessia Russo represent the various demographics and lanes that Adidas has influenced. The young trailblazers all leave their mark on the campaign, showing off the many ways that you can live in Adidas.
“Being featured alongside cultural and sporting icons in Adidas Sportswear’s latest collection is a real honor. Track pants and hoodies are my go-to for days off and I’m all about comfort with a clean, fresh look, which the new ADIDAS Z.N.E. collection perfectly captures,” says Jude Bellingham. Tate McRae continues, “Joining the iconic three stripes family as a face of Adidas Sportswear is extra special. From dancing as a child to performing globally, it’s amazing to add another passion to the mix. You’ve probably noticed I’ve already started rocking some of the pieces on stage!”
“Trends are ever-changing, but what we continue to see at the forefront of today’s style are comfort-first looks influenced and born from the world of sport. What’s more, our audience is connecting with their peers by adopting these style codes deeply embedded in the culture of sport as an expression of unity – which is exactly what this campaign set out to celebrate,” Aimee Arana, General Manager, Sportswear and Training, Adidas Global added.
Adidas Sportswear’s Z.N.E. collection is now available to purchase worldwide, on the Adidas website, app and in stores.
