PLAY Comme des Garçons and Converse are getting the gang back together. The seasoned duo is linking back up to reimagine Converse’s One Star Academy Pro silhouette, as revealed in a campaign starring CONS rider Alexis Sablone and spearheaded by Harmony Korine x EDGLRD.
The new sneakers land in two minimalistic colorways of “Black/Egret” and “Milk/Black” and come equipped with premium canvas material and CX foam cushioning for an elevated board feel. A CONS traction outsole is attached to the bottom to ensure unwavering grip. Each sneaker also features PLAY’s infamous heart emblem on the lateral side.

In the experimental visual, Korine envisions the cultural connection between fashion, art, and skating, with Sablone seen swerving between different dystopian landscapes, shifting from gritty city streets to abstract dreamlike sequences.
