Liberty, one of London’s legacy textile specialists, has offered its unique fabrics to many brands over the years, including New Era. The duo has worked together on occasion and is back for a new Fall/Winter 2024 project, introducing six hats that sport a premium Gobelin finish.

These floral designs begin with two 59FIFTY-shaped hats that sport Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees branding respectively. A third option with no team allegiance appears in “Brown” while the 9THIRTY caps see two New Era-branded iterations in “Blue” and “Khaki” accompanied by another blank “Brown” version.

For those interested in shopping the Liberty x New Era Gobelin Hat collection, it is scheduled to release on January 1 of 2025 at 8pm EST via New Era Japan. Prices start at ¥4,950 JPY (approx. $31 USD) for the 9THIRTY in “Brown” and go up to ¥5,280 JPY (approx. $33 USD) for the “Blue” and “Khaki” designs. As for the 59FIFTY caps, the “Brown” look is priced at ¥7,150 JPY (approx. $45 USD) while the MLB-themed options will cost ¥7,480 JPY (approx. $47 USD) each. Size options range from 7 to 8 for the 59FIFTY hats and from S/M to L/XL for the 9THIRTY designs.
