Akimbo Club Teams Up With Eric Emanuel for Debut Collaborative Capsule
The mesh shorts and zip-up hoodies drop this Friday.
Akimbo Club and Eric Emanuel are both masters at their respective crafts. The hoodie outfitter and mesh shorts imprint are melding minds to present a collab made in loungewear heaven; marking the duo’s first-ever collaboration, the colorful capsule is a connection of both brands’ areas of expertise, consisting of a lineup of mesh shorts and hoodies.
Zip-up hoodies land in Akimbo Club’s classic three colorways of navy, grey and cream. Each hoodie is stamped with a reimagined Eric Emanuel iteration of the signature Akimbo Club logo on the chest, taking the shape of an EE insignia. Silver zip closure and pocketing round it all out.
As for the mesh shorts, silhouettes land in an array of bright hues, including purple, red, black, light blue, pastel pink, army green and black. The typical EE logo featured on the shorts is reworked with a more wavy, Akimbo Club-influenced design.
The Utah-based Akimbo has linked up with Realtree for a run of collaborations, though the Eric Emanuel release signals the biggest-name collab capsule from the brand.
