Travis Scott Breaks Ticket Sales Record With 'CIRCUS MAXIMUS' Stadium Tour
The tour for the rapper’s ‘UTOPIA’ LP has surpassed 1.5 million tickets, breaking the record for the most sales for a rap tour ever.
Since starting in 2023, Travis Scott‘s CIRCUS MAXIMUS stadium tour has drawn massive audiences of eager fans leading to record-breaking sold-out shows at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium and Southern California’s SoFi Stadium. Right off the heels of his Sydney, Australia show the rapper has reportedly broken a new global record.
According to The Source, the CIRCUS MAXIMUS Tour has reached 1.5 million ticket sales making it the top-selling rap tour of all time. The news arrived right off the heels of the rapper’s Sydney, Australia show where he brought out The Weeknd as a special guest. The Sydney show had the highest attendance ever for the Allianz Stadium, which has a capacity of 55,000.
Travis Scott is widely known for his high-energy shows driven by his dedicated fan base. Along with large-scale pyrotechnics and production design, the energy of the shows is further amplified by special guest performers, including Future, Sheck Wes and Playboi Carti, whom Scott brought out at his Met Life show.
With an approximate profit of over $155 million thus far, the tour is also climbing the list of highest-grossing rap tours of all time, which is currently headed by Drake‘s 2023 It Was All A Blur tour.
