Carlos Nazario Reveals Debut Moose Knuckles Collection
Marking the label’s first delivery as part of its “Moose Labs” series of releases.

Carlos Nazario first joined the Moose Knuckles team just about a year ago, signing on to the outerwear outfitter as the Global Artistic Director. Today, the Canada-based label has announced the launch of its “Moose Labs” series of collaborative collections, which is kicking off with New York native Nazario’s debut release.
Spanning twelve pieces, Nazario reimagines some of Moose Knuckles’ signature silhouettes through his NYC design lens. Nazario particularly draws inspiration from the 1990’s hip-hop scene, melding utilitarian functionality with the protective elements of the label’s archival military-inspired pieces.
“For me, outerwear transcends mere functionality — it’s an integral part of one’s style expression. Growing up in New York City, spending time outdoors was a significant part of my life, and outerwear became a statement of my personal aesthetic,” said Nazario in a statement. “This collection draws inspiration from the coats that first made me feel truly sophisticated, blending Moose Knuckles’ roots in Canadian military apparel with exquisite craftsmanship and quality that discerning individuals will appreciate. There’s an unmistakable sense of glamour in this collection that reflects the bold, stylish approach we bring to outerwear design.”
Jacketing accounts for a majority of the inaugural Moose Labs release, with styles including bombers, bikers, pilot jackets and parkas. More sophisticated silhouettes span fllor-length parkas and coats, while leather pants, mittens and pilot hats rounding out the utilitarian presentation. Craftsmanship connects all of the collection’s garments, with each one elevated with high quality leather, Mongolian wool, down or shearling.
