TECHART Celebrates 50 Years of Porsche Turbo with GT Street R Monochrome
Available in several different configurations, with production limited to 20 examples.
TECHART has revealed the GT Street R Monochrome and its Cabriolet counterpart, designed to celebrate 50 years of Porsche Turbo. This exclusive final edition, limited to just 20 examples, pays tribute to the Porsche 911 Turbo legacy with a blend of monochrome design and TECHART’s signature performance enhancements.
The GT Street R Monochrome series boasts 810 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque. This power translates into a top speed exceeding 215 mph, setting new benchmarks for its segment. The Cabriolet variant provides an open-top driving experience, allowing enthusiasts to enjoy the exhaust sound while taking in the surroundings.
Aerodynamics play a crucial role in the Monochrome’s performance, with the vehicle featuring TECHART’s most advanced rear spoiler, dubbed the “Mach three.” Designed using wind tunnel testing and racetrack experience, this spoiler enhances downforce for greater stability and agility. The carbon fiber aerodynamic package boosts downforce by four times on the rear axle and also reduces lift on the front by 45 percent at speeds of 86 mph compared to the standard vehicle.
Inside, the Monochrome stays true to its name with a design that combines carbon fiber, Alcantara, leather and other high-quality materials. TECHART’s “Manufactory Interior” offers a blend of traditional motorsport elements with custom details, giving each vehicle a unique, handcrafted touch. The interior also features TECHART’s sports steering wheel, enhanced with Alcantara and a contrasting center marking.
TECHART’s new hood crest, inspired by the coat of arms of Höfingen, is a special highlight of the Monochrome models. This limited edition vehicle is available with a variety of customization points and options, from the “Rear spoiler III duck tail” to the cabriolet iteration. Pricing and availability for the GT Street R Monochrome is available upon request via TECHART’s official site.
