'Ghostbusters' Celebrates 40th Anniversary With Special Krispy Kreme Collaborative Menu
Just in time for Halloween.
Krispy Kreme and Ghostbusters have teamed up for a special Halloween collaboration to celebrate the franchise’s 40th anniversary.
The upcoming collection features new menu items commemorating the beloved film; the Ghostbusters Cookies N’ Creme Doughnut is made with OREO, which arrives as an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with OREO pieces, a glob of OREO and buttercreme and a No Ghost logo candy, while the Slimer Doughnut is a simple unglazed offering filled with lemon-flavored green filling and dipped in purple and green icing with a Slimer candy. The Ecto-Sprinkled Doughnut is an Original Glazed dipped in orange-colored icing with neon sprinkles, while the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Doughnut Pull-Apart arrives as Original Glazed Doughnut Dots with toppings in the form of powder, marshmallow flavored buttercreme and a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man candy.
The collab will be housed in a limited-edition custom Ghostbusters specialty box and can be enjoyed with the Slimer’s Slime-ade, a new drink in a signature ectoplasm green.
The Ghostbusters x Krispy Kreme collaboration is available in-stores on October 7.
