©SAINT Mxxxxxx Presents a Plethora of New Collaborations
Teaming up with ‘Ghost in the Shell,’ Kosuke Kawamura, A LOVE MOVEMENT and Atsushi Okubo’s LASTMAN.
Yuta Hosokawa and Cali Dewitt‘s ©SAINT Mxxxxxx has unveiled its latest slate of collaborations in a multifaceted capsule. Complete with contributions from four collaborators, the stacked ©SAINT Mxxxxxx delivery features first-time brand contributor A LOVE MOVEMENT, as well as offerings from seasoned brand collaborators Ghost in the Shell, Kosuke Kawamura and LASTMAN.
The ©SAINT Mxxxxxx’s x Ghost in the Shell offering marks the duo’s second clothing collaboration, once again reimagining the motifs from the series in a creative way. This time around, the partners present a long-sleeved graphic t-shirt stamped with a graphic drawn by Japan-based illustrator Ilya Kuvshinov and finished off by Hosokawa. For an artisanal aesthetic, the garment is finished off with fading and sun-damage effects.
Another long-sleeve graphic appears with the assistance of artist Kawamura. Similarly worn-out, the shirt boasts a vintage feel and reads “NOTHING IMPORTANT” in blue lettering across the middle of the front, back and along the sleeves.
A LOVE MOVEMENT and LASTMAN both join in on the capsule to contribute bespoke cut-and-sew pieces. In true A LOVE MOVEMENT form, the label repurposes a knit jersey into a cobranded zip-up, adorned with embroidered patching and branding from both labels throughout the silhouette. LASTMAN closes it out with a lineup of flannel shirts and a pair of patchwork pants, each of which is inspired by founder Atsushi Okubo‘s vintage collection.
All four ©SAINT Mxxxxxx collaborative capsules will land for purchase at stockists of the label on Saturday, October 12.
