Kyrie Irving Teases ANTA Collaborations With Klay Thompson Are Imminent
Touching on potential apparel collabs.
During the most recent Dallas Mavericks Media Day, Kyrie Irving discussed what he expects from the upcoming NBA season with his new teammate, Klay Thompson.
During an interview, reporter Chris Henderson asked Irving if his fellow ANTA teammate and himself would work together off the court. Irving was quick to confirm that there will be opportunities in the future, “To answer your second question with Klay, of course, there’s going to be competition. There was competition with my dad with the signature series. Me and Klay have had short conversations about Anta but not deep conversations. I think you’ll see more collaborations from us. I think you’ll see more apparel collaborations from us. It’s just another opportunity for us to build.”
Thompson first signed to ANTA in 2015, becoming their signature athlete. He is now expected to introduce his 10th signature model, the KT X, arriving this fall. As for Irving, he launched his first signature shoe with ANTA this spring called the Kai 1. Take a look at what Irving had to say below.
