Natacha Ramsay-Levi Reunites With ECCO for Third Footwear Collaboration
The former Chloé creative director reimagined the label’s signature hybrid styles as new loafers, hiking boots, chunky clogs and lace-ups in kaleidoscopic colors.
One year into their creative partnership, Danish footwear purveyor ECCO and fashion visionary Natacha Ramsay-Levi (formerly the design director of Louis Vuitton and later the creative director of Chloé) have served up their third shoe collaboration.
“This collection is the boldest so far,” Ramsay-Levi said in a statement. “One thing we routinely return to is finding the balance between technicality and elevation and this season we’ve worked on giving a city vibe to shoes designed for the outdoors. Relying on functionality allows us to experiment with sharp materials.”
The sprawling collection is filled with comfort-first innovations, including ECCO’s Fluidform™️ tech, which offers increased cushioning and flexibility by using lightweight liquid to bond the upper and sole of the shoe. Standout silhouettes include new iterations of the staple sneaker-hiker Offroad boot. Here, the signature silhouette lends itself to hybrid loafers, low-cut boots and sneakers with the duo’s classic, bright color-blocking in tones of apple green, letterbox red and azure blue.
Elsewhere, the line features chunky clogs, lace-up Derby shoes and combat boots—all of which employ ECCO’ss high-shine leathers and matte finishes in olive, black, cocoa and silver hues.
The ECCO x Natacha Ramsay-Levi Fall/Winter 2024 collection launches on October 15 via ECCO’s webstore and in select retail outposts. Take a look at the lineup in the gallery above.
