New Balance exclusively crafted a new 1906R in “Starry Nights” for DTLR, marking the two companies’ continuous partnership.
According to DTLR, this special colorway aims to capture “the wonder and allure of space exploration” through its vibrant and eclectic color palette. The mesh upper comes in a bright lime yellow with hints of black that appear to be seeping through from the interiors. Adding to the electric interplay are synthetic overlays in bright blue, accentuated with black outlines and the “N” logo. The color symphony doesn’t stop here, with orange laces adding a dash of neon to the upper.
While a black sole unit would be a failsafe choice, the Anchored in a black base hue, “Starry Nights” takes its aesthetic inspiration further with an even more colorful N-ergy rubber outsole. The majority of the sole are rendered in metallic silver, while the regal purple highlights are infused with silvery specks as a nod to the cosmos. Bright orange also highlights the heels of the outsole to tie in with the overall color scheme.
