Live-Action ‘Lilo & Stitch’ Coming to Theaters in May 2025
The film was first announced in 2018.
The live-action Lilo & Stitch movie has received a release date, now slated to hit theaters on May 23, 2025.
Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp and written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright, the film will star Chris Sanders as the voice of Stitch and Maia Kealoha as Lilo.
Zach Galifianakis is also in the voice cast as Stitch’s creator, Dr. Jumba Jookiba, while Billy Magnussen plays the special agent tasked with hunting Stitch down. Rounding the main cast is Sydney Agudong as Lilo’s older sister Nani.
The live-action remake was first announced by Disney in 2018, though it wasn’t until 2022 that Fleischer Camp was assigned to direct.
