'The White Lotus' Announces Season 3 Cast
The next installment of the satiricial drama series will take place in Thailand.
Mike White’s The White Lotus is set to return for a third season, and the HBO Emmy-winning anthology series has just revealed the first cast members that will be staying at the wild and twisted resort in the next installment.
Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Dom Hetrakul and Tayme Thapthimthong are set to star in the third season, alongside returning cast member Natasha Rothwell. The next chapter will be set in Thailand, and filming will begin in and around Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok in February.
HBO has not disclosed further details about the plot or the characters that the aforementioned actors will depict. However, Deadline reported in November that the cast will include “a patriarch, a female corporate executive, an actress, a couple of mothers, including a country club wife, a misfit and a yogi.” Rothwell will reprise her role as Belinda, from the show’s first season.
“It’s going to be a supersized White Lotus,” White previously stated of season three. “It’s going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don’t know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that’s a good thing.”
The White Lotus‘ third season has not yet received an official release date, though it will “likely” be moved to 2025 due to the strikes.
