Dive Into the World of 'TEKKEN 8'
The much-anticipated title is out now worldwide.
It’s been nearly nine years since Bandai Namco shook up the fighting game community with the release of TEKKEN 7. After many years of waiting, it’s finally time for the next chapter of the series as TEKKEN 8 has just officially released.
Diving into the evolving story between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama, TEKKEN 8 boasts an immersive storyline that is backed by revamped combat, including the introduction of the new “aggressive” combat system that emphasizes fresh offensive tactics. In addition to this, a new singleplayer mode tailored to newcomers has been created — Arcade Quest mode — letting players design their own avatar to take on challenges. Beyond that, the TEKKEN Fight Lounge and Super Ghost Battle offer additional content while multiplayer modes are backed by cross-platform capabilities.
TEKKEN 8 is available now for play for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and on PC via Steam. The Standard Edition of the game is priced at $70 USD, the Deluxe Edition is set at a price of $100 USD, the Ultimate Edition costs $110 USD and the Premium Collector’s Edition comes in at a $300 USD price point.
