Erick the Architect Taps WESTSIDE BOOGIE for "Instincts"
The latest cut from the rapper’s debut solo project, which lands next month.
Erick The Architect is continuing to roll out tracks from his imminent debut solo album, I’ve Never Been Here Before. The Flatbush Zombies rapper and producer has enlisted WESTSIDE BOOGIE to lay down some bars on “Instincts.”
The music video – shot entirely in black and white – follows Erick as he embarks upon a scenic road trip. “Follow my instincts / Monday to Wednesday / Life is a mystery / What do my friends think? / Some cowards kneel, but They never feel us / They almost killed us / And I’m still here bruh,” he delivers on the chorus.

“I know this song is well needed in this universe and I’ve surely been guilty of not following my gut and I’ve always regretted that I didn’t pay attention to myself. I’m hoping that this song really serves as guidance for anyone who has ever felt like that too,” he wrote in an Instagram caption.
