Students Golf's New "Honor Roll" Collection Is Its Biggest Yet
Delivering cable knit sweaters, all-over printed pants and knit polos.

Typically known for its streetwear inspired graphic t-shirts and hoodies which challenge the traditional polo and slacks golf uniform, LA-based Students Golf latest collection is the most ambitious one it has ever released. For those who enjoy the brand’s cheeky slogans and designs, fear not, those are still present. However, this time the label led by former Publish Brand founder Michael Huynh along with Bryan Lowman, once of Stüssy, offers everything from cable knit sweaters, to all-over printed pants, to knit polos and nylon vests. It’s all part of what Students calls “Honor Roll.”
There are plenty of highlights to choose from, but one particular design that stands out is the aforementioned all-over animal print which is used on a pair of pants, shorts, a mock neck and a work jacket, creating the potential for a variety of matching looks. The graphic depicted is a hunting collage seen on classic outdoor garments, but reinterpreted through Students’ modern lens. Another example of Students experimenting with patterns comes on the Fletcher Camo Jacket and Gautney Camo Pants, both of which feature typical camo colors but arranged in an unconventional, puzzle piece-like design. Elsewhere, sweater polos and popover shirts use vertical striping in a “bowling” manner, and cable sweaters are heavily textured with raised ribs.
Take a look at the pieces styled together in the gallery above, which range anywhere from $50 to $150 USD. You can shop the collection on Students’ website and select global retailers.
