Following the widespread success of the Halo franchise, which has grossed upwards of $10 billion USD across its projects its titles since the 2001 launch, it only made sense to keep growing. That led to the creation of the Halo TV series, which made its debut in March of 2022 on Paramount+. Now the series is back for more as the streaming service has released the official trailer for season two of Halo.

With striking visuals of intergalactic battles, the new trailer offers a sneak peek of action-packed and emotional visuals that line the story. “Master Chief John-117 leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant. As humanity’s best hope for winning the war, John-117 discovers his deep connection to a mysterious alien structure that holds the key to humankind’s salvation, or its destruction — the Halo” reads a note about the season. As usual, some exciting pieces for fans include signatures like the energy swords and deep-hued futuristic military gear.

Check out the striking official trailer in the gallery above. Season two of Halo is set to release on Paramount+ on Thursday, February 8. Following the season debut, episodes are set to be released on a weekly basis.
