Oakley is coming into the new year blazing, whipping up a red-hot Lunar New Year capsule to welcome 2024. Inspired by the spirit of the Wood Dragon, Oakley’s first collection of the year brings the dragon’s daring demeanor to life across four pieces – spanning reimagined Holbrook and Sutro eyewear styles, Line Miner™ Goggles and a MOD1 helmet.

The Lunar New Year range “encourages wearers to depart from tradition and boldly embrace the future,” Oakley explains in a press release, taking a note directly from the dragon’s playbook. “Notably, [the dragon] is distinguished for its daring, and future-forward nature, traits which the brand embraces and brings to life in its newest collection.”

Oakley’s signature Holbrook and Sutro silhouettes are revamped, each style boasting incandescent Prizm™ 24K lenses. Each pair also features intricate designs along the gold stems, evocative of lunar shadows and the lunar calendar’s moon phases. A white lunar dragon polishes off the lens design, and a custom micro bag comes with each pair, which also boasts hand-drawn dragons throughout. The Line Miner™ Goggles with Prizm™ Snow Torch sees the same geometrical pattern on the strap, and the MOD1 helmet comes equipped with hand-drawn dragons across the temples.

Take a closer look at Oakley’s Lunar New Year Collection in the gallery above, and cop a piece for yourself now – exclusively available at Oakley’s webstore as well as in select Oakley stores worldwide.
